At approximately 3:30 p.m. on December 1, a donation bucket was stolen from the lobby of the Canadian Tire at 10 Radcliffe Drive The suspect grabbed the bucket and fled into a wooded area. Responding officers searched the area with the help of a K-9 unit. Several articles of clothing were recovered; however, the suspect was not apprehended at that time. With commmunity assistance and information, the suspect's identity became known to police and at 4 p.m. on December 2 the suspect turned himself in to police. The majority of the stolen money was also returned. A 24-year-old man faces charges of theft and possession under $5,000.
