At 2:15 a.m., officers responded to a report of a male shouting and hollering while walking on Irishtown Road in downtown Dartmouth. Responding members found a 21-year-old man suffering from a pair of stab wounds. He was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. It is believed at this time that the victim was involved in an altercation near an automated banking machine in the 0-100 block of Portland Street at which time he was stabbed. The investigation is ongoing.
