At 10 p.m., members of the HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Unit were in the area of 104 Green Village Road in Dartmouth and observed that the security fence for Dartmouth Secure Self Storage had been cut. Members further observed that several of the individual storage units had the locks cut off and had been entered. Two men located inside the compound attempted to escape but were arrested after a brief foot pursuit. A woman who was in an awaiting vehicle parked along Highway 111 near Portland Street was also arrested. Two men, 18 and 20 years of age, and a 34-year-old woman were taken into custody to be interviewed by investigators. All three are expected to be charged with 15 counts of break and enter in relation to 15 individual storage units being entered. It is unknown at this time if they will be released or held for court.
