At 12:20 a.m., West Division patrol officers responded to the 0-100 block of Bromley Road in Halifax to a report of a shot being fired into a residence. Two adults and an 8-year-old child who were inside the residence on the second floor at the time of the incident were uninjured. Officers located evidence at the scene and are continuing the investigation. The incident appears to be random at this time and will be investigated by the HRP/RCMPIntegrated General Investigation Section.
