At 10:54 p.m., Halifax Regional Police received a report of a man having been shot. He was found lying in the area of Charles and Gottingen Streets in Halifax. Three men, including the victim, were walking in the 2400 area of Creighton Street when they heard what they believed to be gun shots. One of the men was struck. They then ran to the area of Charles and Gottingen Street. The victim, a 19-year-old man from Halifax, was transported to the hospital, with non-life threatening injuries. The HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section is currently investigating the shooting and investigators are exploring the possibility this may be a random act. UPDATE: Suspects in this case are described as two black males in their late teens wearing dark coloured clothing.
