At approximately 10 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and pedestrian in the 1700 block of the Bedford Highway. A motorcycle travelling southbound on the Bedford Highway struck a pedestrian who was crossing the highway but was not in a crosswalk. The 20-year-old driver was thrown off of the motorcycle as a result of the collision and was taken to hospital for precautionary reasons. The 24-year-old male pedestrian was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. At this time, no charges have been laid and the matter is still under investigation.
