At 4:40 a.m., a 72-year-old man was assaulted and had his wallet stolen near the intersection of Sackville Street and Brunswick Street.  Prior to this incident, he had withdrawn money from a nearby instant teller machine and observed a group of younger men watching him.  It is believed two males from the group assaulted him and took his wallet containing cash.  The suspect description available at this time is two white males, 20-25 years old. One suspect was described as 6' with a thin build.  The second suspect is described as  5' 8" inches, thin build, wearing a red sweater.   The victim received minor facial injuries and was  treated at the scene by EHS.   Police continue to investigate this incident and request that anyone with information about this incident  contacts police at 490-5016.
