At approximately 3:20 p.m. police responded to a motor crash that occurred in front of 121 Williams Lake Road in Halifax. This was a single vehicle accident involving a flat bed crane truck. The driver of the truck had completed a delivery and left his crane in an upright position as he drove down the highway. The crane then hooked various wires and power lines as it travelled down the road. Eventually, the crane hooked a series of large wires which caused the vehicle to be pulled over onto its side. The male driver of the vehicle wasn't injured during this incident. Nova Scotia Power was called to the seen to assess the situation. Williams Lake Road was closed to traffic in both directions between Ravenscraig Drive and Purcells Cove Road.
