A 62-year-old man reported that he was in his apartment on Kennedy Drive in Dartmouth when at approximately 8:35 p.m. he heard a knock at his door. He told whoever it was to come in and two women and three men, one armed with a gun, entered the apartment. The suspects demanded property from the victim. The victim could tell that the gun was not real and was able to take it from the suspect during a brief struggle. The suspects then fled the apartment. No one was injured during the incident and the suspects did not take any property from the apartment. This was not a random incident as the two female suspects are known to the victim. A short time after the incident, officers arrested one of the female suspects. This matter is currently under investigation by patrol officers and the HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section.
