At 10:45 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to the area of 3556 Dutch Village Road for a male who had been assaulted. Responding officers located the male and determined the victim was at his residence in the 0-100 block of Frederick Avenue when the door was forced open and three males entered the residence, beat the victim and stole several items. The victim identified two of the males and East Patrol members responded to the 0-100 block of Gaston Road. They identified the suspects’ residence and attempted to locate the suspects. Two males from Dartmouth were arrested and taken into custody and will face numerous charges including break and enter, assault and robbery. Members of the Integrated General Investigation section are continuing the investigation.
