At approximately 5:50 p.m., police responded to the 100 to 200 block of Main Avenue, as well as the QE11 Health Sciences Centre, for a report of two males suffering from stab wounds. A 17-year-old male youth remains in hospital with what is believed to be non life-threatening injuries. The second male involved, aged 16, remains in custody and will be facing a number of criminal code chages including aggravated assault and assault with a weapon. A third male youth, aged 17, is facing breach of probation charges and possession of a prohibited weapon. The incident occurred in the 200 block of Coronation Avenue. At this time, investigators believe this is an ongoing dispute between parties known to one another. The incident remains under investigation by members of the HRP/RCMP General Investigative Section.
