At 3:50 a.m., Central Division officers responded to a break and enter in progress call in the 6200 block of Allan Street in Halifax.  The incident was reported by the upstairs tenant.  A 30-year-old man was alone in his apartment when  his door was kicked in and a television and jewellery were stolen.  He was not injured during the incident.  The complainant provided a description of the vehicle in which the suspects fled the scene.  At 4:05 a.m., West Division officers stopped the vehicle in the  800 block of Bedford Highway, and arrested the occupants and recovered the stolen property.  Five men, ages 21, 35, 37, 38 and 40, were taken into custody for break and enter.  The investigation is in its early stages and additional charges may follow.
