At 12:45 a.m., an officer attempted to pull over a truck on Pleasant Street in Dartmouth. The driver failed to stop the vehicle and a short pursuit ensued that ended on Pleasant Street near the Shearwater Air Base after the vehicle experienced mechanical problems. The officer arrested two male youths in the truck and determined the vehicle to be stolen. The two 16-year-old male youths were held in police custody and will be appearing in Halifax Youth Court this morning.
