At approximately 1:53 a.m., police responded to a report of a theft of motor vehicle in progress in the area of Jackson Road in Dartmouth. The caller stated that three men were attempting to steal her truck from the parking lot. The victim yelled at the men who then fled on foot. Several units responded to the area and within 10 minutes, officers arrested the three men. All three accused are from Dartmouth. A 22-year-old man and an 18-year-old man will face theft of motor vehicle charges. A 19-year-old man wil face theft of motor vehicle charges as well as a breach of probation charge. The men have been released and will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court in April.
