At 3 a.m. on March 6, officers responded to an alarm call at the Alexander Pizza Restaurant located at 378 Herring Cove Rd in Halifax. Upon arrival officers confirmed that it was a break and enter. The members contained and searched the restaurant and determined that the suspect(s) had fled. A K9 unit attended the scene and conducted a search of the area that yielded negative results. The investigation is ongoing. At this time it appears that an undisclosed sum of money was stolen from the cash register along with some electronics.
