At 3:42 p.m., police responded to a car pedestrian collision at Dutch Village Road at Alma Crescent in Halifax. A 65-year-old woman was crossing the street in the crosswalk when she was bumped by a vehicle and knocked down. The pedestrian received minor injuries and was checked by EHS at the scene. The 79-year-old female driver was issued a ticket for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
