On January 2, 2013 at approximately 2:30 a.m., police responded to a break and enter call that occurred at the Platinum Pawn Shop located at 141 Main Street in Dartmouth. It appears that a vehicle was used to smash in the front entrance. The party(s) responsible for this act fled prior to police arrival. Police located the vehicle used in the offence a short time after the break occurred. It was determined that it had been stolen from Sackville. It has not yet been determined what (if anything) was stolen during this break and enter. The matter remains under police investigation.
