GO# 13-46521 - Break and Enter / Theft – East Division

At 11:40 p.m. on April 6, members of Halifax Regional Police responded to a 911 call of a break and enter in progress at Neighbour's Pub located at 50 Rodney Road in Dartmouth. It was reported that several parties had broken into the business, and that they were stealing property and storing it at a nearby apartment building. Upon arrival at the scene, several suspects were immediately taken into custody by East Division patrol officers and K9. Shortly thereafter, a warrant was obtained to search a residence in the 300 Block of Portland Street, which resulted in the recovery of stolen property (foodstuff and electronic equipment).

Three adults will be charged in this incident:

- a 42-year-old male from Dartmouth will be held for court and will be charged with break and enter, theft and breach of recognizance.

- a 21-year-old male and a 19-year-old male, also from Dartmouth, will be charged with break and enter and theft and will appear in court at a later date.
