At 12:50 p.m., officers on patrol observed and broke up a disturbance in the 0-100 Block of Brule Street in Dartmouth. During the course of their follow up investigation, they determined that a 14-year-old female victim had been assaulted and robbed of her cell phone. The victim was able to identify the two assailants who were known to her. The suspects were subsequently located on Pleasant Street and were arrested without incident. Two female youths, aged 14 and 15, from the Dartmouth area have been charged with robbery and various breaches of court orders. They will be appearing in Halifax Youth Court in the morning. The victim in this matter was treated and released by EHS at the scene and did not suffer serious injury.
