GO #13-52001 - Bomb Threat

At 10:51 a.m., police responded to a report of a bomb threat at the Irving Ship Yard, 3099 Barrington Street. A man called police and stated there was a bomb at the ship yard and it would go off today. The phone call was traced to a pay phone in the area of Windsor Street and North Street. A man was observed at the phone by members of the HRP/RCMP Integrated Criminal Investigation Division who were at the scene on a different matter. The suspect is described as a white man in his 20`s, skinny, wearing a black hoodie, grey shorts, white sneakers, a black hat and a back pack. The area was checked for the suspect but he was not located. Traffic to the ship yard was diverted for several hours while the property was checked.
