Shortly after 3 p.m., police received information regarding a man in possession of a firearm in the area of Spring Garden Road and South Park Street in Halifax. Responding officers arrested the suspect without incident and recovered a loaded firearm. The suspect is being held for court on Monday morning to face numerous weapons-related charges.
