At 10:07 p.m., police responded to a hold up alarm at the Subway located at 5560 Fenwick Street in Halifax. It was confirmed that an attempted robbery had occurred. A masked man had entered the store, demanded cash, and brandished a knife. The clerk pushed the alarm and the suspect left the store on foot.
The suspect is described as a white male, 19-20 years old with a stocky build wearing a toque, ski mask, mismatched mittens. No one was injured during this incident and nothing was taken.
