At 11:34 p.m. on January 24, 2014, two men broke down the door of a residence in the 5000 block of Drummond Court in Halifax and assaulted the male resident with a crowbar. The suspects fled the area in a gold-colored car. The victim was transported to the hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. Responding officers could not locate the suspects or the vehicle.
The suspects are described as black males wearing dark clothing and they both had their faces covered with masks.
The incident remains under investigation by the HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigative Section. At this time, this does not appear to be a random incident.
