On June 22 at 1:36 a..m., police received an emergency call of a man armed with a knife in the 0-100 block of Highfield Park Drive in Dartmouth. The caller reported that the man intended to confront a group of individuals that he had an altercation with earlier on. Officers arrived quickly on scene and took the man into custody without incident. The knife was recovered and no one was injured during this incident. A 22-year-old Dartmouth man will appear in court at a later date to face a charge of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
