At 9:30 p.m. on August 11, a 24-year-old man reported that he was walking in the parking lot between the Dartmouth Sportplex and the bus terminal property when he was confronted by two males who were standing next to a vehicle. One suspect told the victim to give him his backpack and then proceeded to punch him in the face. The second suspect produced what the victim believes was a handgun, pointing it at him and stealing his backpack. The males are described as white, in their late teens wearing sunglasses and hoodies that covered their faces. The suspects entered a blue 4-door hatchback vehicle and drove towards Wyse Road. The victim was not injured during the incident. The Integrated General Investigative Section is continuing the investigation and anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police at 902-490-5016.
