On November 4th at 4:08 p.m., police responded to a report of a vehicle being operated in a very dangerous manner in and around Central Division, West Division and on the 102 Highway. A 17-year-old male was arrested when the late model Chevrolet 2500 towing a large trailer he was driving eventually got stuck in traffic on the wrong side of the 102 Highway near the Dunbrack Street exit. He was located with the assistance of motorists who were calling 911 to update police of his location. Some intersections and the MacKay Bridge experienced traffic disruptions when traffic flow was blocked by police due to safety concerns. Halifax Regional Police would like to thank all involved for their cooperation and patience as this matter was resolved without injury. Police are continuing to investigate this matter.
