Halifax Regional Police is investigating a vehicle/pedestrian collision that occurred on Friday, December 11 at approximately 10:53 a.m. at the intersection of Eisner Boulevard and Norm Newman Drive, Dartmouth.
A 47-year-old woman who was crossing the roadway in the area of Eisner Boulevard and Norm Newman Drive was hit by a vehicle operated by a 63-year-old female driver. The driver of the vehicle was travelling southbound on Eisner Boulevard approaching a four way stop intersection with Norm Newman Drive. The driver was attempting to make a left hand turn into the Superstore parking lot when she collided with a female pedestrian who was walking northbound on Eisner Boulevard approaching Norm Newman Drive. The pedestrian was transported to hospital by EHS with undetermined injuries.
The collision is still under investigation at this time and no charges have been laid.
