At 10:30 p.m. on December 14,patrol officers were dispatched to a residence located in the 0-100 block of Mount Edward Road in Dartmouth in response to a 911 hang up call. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the residents of the home and learned that a group of six men wearing masks forced their way into the home and assaulted them with a sensory irritant and then fled on foot. The suspects are described as black men wearing masks and dark clothing. None of the residents sustained serious injuries and the file is still currently under investigation.
