At 4:37 a.m. on December 19, a 25-year-old man called police to report that a man, who was sitting in a parked vehicle, had pointed a gun at him while he was on Spring Garden Road near South Park Street. Responding officers arrested a 22-year-old man at the scene without incident and recovered an imitation handgun. A 22-year-old Dartmouth man is being held in custody and will be appearing in Halifax Provincial Court on Monday to face numerous firearms charges.
