GO# 15-72677 - Robbery

At approximately 1:55 a.m. on May 31, members of the Halifax Regional Police responded to the Needs on Chebucto Road in Halifax for a report of a robbery that had just occurred at this location. The suspect entered the store and approached the counter, produced a handgun and demanded cigarettes and money from the employee. The suspect fled the store with cigarettes and money. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 17-18 years of age, 5’7”, wearing black sweat pants, a black hoodie with a multicolored design on the front and a black ball cap. The victim was not injured during the incident, and the matter is still under investigation.
