Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a robbery at 10:15 p.m. on September 24 at the Subway at 5560 Fenwick Street in Halifax. A man entered the Subway, approached the employee, produced a knife and demanded cash. The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the store. No one was injured during the robbery. The suspect was described as white man, 40-45-years-old, slim build, white stubble on his face. He was wearing blue jeans, black sneakers and a blue hoodie with a large Montreal Expo logo on the front. Officers from the General Investigative Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Unit will be continuing the investigation.
