At approximately 3:30 a.m. on June 3, a 25-year-old man was walking across the Halifax Commons in the area of the fountain when he was approached by two male suspects. One of the suspects punched him in the face and then both suspects proceeded to take the DJ equipment the victim was carrying, as well as a sum of cash. The suspects are both described as white men in their twenties, average height and build, wearing dark hoodies with the hoods up. They were last seen running in the direction of the skate park. The victim did not require medical attention. The incident is being investigated by the General Investigative Section.
