At 6:10 p.m. on July 28, a witness saw two males in a car outside the McDonald's restaurant on Nantucket Avenue in Dartmouth. The passenger in the vehicle stuck his arm out the window and pointed a gun at the front door of the restaurant. There was no one near the door. The two suspects drove away but were located a short time later at the No Frills store on Wyse Road. The males were taken in to custody and a gun was located in their vehicle. The gun turned out to be a pellet gun. The 17 and 15-year-old suspects were charged with possession of a weapon and turned over to their parents. They will appear in Halifax Youth Court on August 17, 2017.
