GO #17-112792: Robbery/Stabbing

At approximately 2:45 a.m. officers located a man suffering from stab wounds near the rear entrance of HRP Headquarters at 1975 Gottingen Street in Halifax. 

The 56-year-old man was walking in the area of Gottingen and Cogswell Streets when he was approached by two men who stole the victim’s wallet and stabbed him in the arm and abdomen. The man was attended to by EHS paramedics and transported to hospital for treatment of what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries. The scene of the stabbing was located by officers and no arrests have been made at this time.

HRP Forensic Identification members and members of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are continuing to investigate. The suspects are described as  a white man in his late teens and a white man in his thirties with a bald head.
