At 11:58 p.m. last night Halifax Regional Police responded to the 2200 block of Gottingen Street for a male who had been stabbed. The victim informed police he had been in an altercation and was stabbed in the hand. A suspect was located a short time later on Barrington Street where he was arrested without incident. The 32-year-old man from Dartmouth will be attending court to face charges of assault with a weapon and weapons dangerous to the public. The victim was treated at the QEII and released.
