On November 28 at approximately 8:38 a.m., members of the Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash that occurred in the 400 Block of Herring Cove Road in Halifax. Upon arrival, the officers located a vehicle that had struck the side of a house causing extensive damage to the vehicle and the home. It was further reported that a man was observed fleeing on foot from the scene. The resulting investigative effort by Patrol Officers led to the arrest of a 45-year-old man from the Halifax area. The accused is being held in custody and will appear in Halifax Provincial Court in the morning to answer to charges of Failure to Stop at the scene of an Accident and Breach of Recognizance. No one was injured as a result of this accident.
