At 6:20 p.m. on Saturday, August 23, HRP officers responded to the 0-100 block of Jarvis Lane in Halifax in relation to a weapons complaint after a man was observed leaving the area, possibly with a firearm. The investigation led officers to a location in the 7000 block of Andrews Street in Halifax where four people were located and detained. No firearm was located during the investigation and all four people were released from custody.
