A car was stopped at the crosswalk, where the overhead lights were flashing, however, the driver didn't see a pedestrian and began to proceed at a low rate of speed. A 12-year-old boy started crossing Herring Cove Rd. from Sylvia Ave. when the vehicle's tire touched the boy's foot. The boy was assessed by EHS at the scene, but it was determined he had no resulting injuries.
