At about 7:20 p.m. on Sunday, June 15, officers responded to the 100-200 block of Albro Lake Road in Dartmouth for a report of a man who had threatened to shoot another man. Responding officers set up a perimeter around the apartment building where it was believed the male suspect resided. A short time later, officers made contact with the man. He eventually exited the building at which point the officers directed him to stop. The man was non-compliant, and began walking toward officers. Officers deployed a Conducted Energy Weapon, which was ineffective. The man was then subdued by an officer, arrested and then transported to hospital with minor injuries. The man remains in police custody and the incident is currently under investigation.
