GO#14-8519 - Police Investigate Robbery

At approximately 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, a 22-year-old woman was walking in the area of South and Seymour Streets when two men in black jackets and wearing ski masks approached her. It was snowing heavily so she did not think anything of this. The men then confronted her and demanded her purse. One of the men had a small knife in his hand and the other had a wrench in his hand. They then removed her purse from her and ran off on foot, last seen heading towards LeMarchant St. The woman was not injured during the incident. Numerous police units were on scene quickly but the suspects were not located. One of the suspects is described as approximately 5’5, no older than 25 years of age, wearing a black jacket, black pants and a black balaclava. He was armed with a small knife. The other suspect is described as approximately 5’5, and was also dressed in all black clothing with a black balaclava, and was armed with a wrench.
