At 10:50 p.m. on Friday, September 4, Patrol Officers responded to a report of a break and enter and robbery in the 0-100 block of Bridget Avenue in Halifax. The victim indicated to police that he heard a knock on his door and once he opened the door, he was confronted by a group of males who weren't immediately known to him. They forced their way into the residence and struck the victim with a blunt object before rummaging through the residence and removing personal items. EHS attended and treated the victim at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries. Members in the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are continuing the investigation.
