Police are investigating a break and enter/weapons incident that occurred in the 6200 block of Quinpool Rd. Halifax Regional Police officers responded to the scene at 4:10 a.m. on Saturday, April 18 and were advised by the residents of the home that three males had entered their home, one of them brandishing a long gun. The three suspects demanded the residents' cell phones, money and an XBOX. There were five adults in the home and two of the residents, both males, were assaulted by the suspect with the firearm, however, no injuries have been reported. The suspects were described as three younger males wearing masks over their faces and hooded sweatshirts. The suspect with the firearm is described as a black male approximately 5’10, the second male is described as a white male, 5’10 with white running shoes, and the third suspect is described as a white male who was taller than the others. Officers in the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are continuing the investigation into this matter.
