Friday, Sept. 4, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that a section of Granville Street will be closed to traffic overnight Tuesday, Sept. 8, to facilitate the installation of an underground water pipe in the area.
The street will shut down at 7 a.m. Tuesday between George Street and Duke Street, and remain closed until about 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9. Crews will accommodate access for local traffic only and pedestrians will continue to have access to the sidewalks along the street.
Motorists should expect some delays in the area and are advised to find alternative routes, if possible. The municipality regrets any inconvenience this work may cause.
