Update: Work will continue today in the following intersections:
- Cole Harbour Road & Otago drives
- Forest Hills & Taranaki drives
The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising motorists and pedestrians there will be intermittent traffic signal disruptions beginning Tuesday in various intersections across the municipality.
Crews will be installing LED lamps in the traffic signals at intersections from Tuesday, May 22 to Friday, May 25, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day.
Drivers should be aware there will be some lane drops and interruptions to traffic flow as this work is completed. There will be at least one working traffic light in each direction at every intersection while these installations are underway.
Work will take place at the following intersections at various times throughout the week:
- Caldwell & Cow Bay roads
- Cole Harbour Road at Forest Hills, Hugh Allen & Otago drives
- Forest Hills Drive at Circassion Drive, Taranaki Drive, Flying Cloud Drive, the Canadian Tire access road & the Cole Harbour Place access road
- Forest Hills Parkway & Auburn Drive

Municipalité régionale d’Halifax – Travaux sur les feux de circulation
La Municipalité régionale d’Halifax informe les automobilistes et les piétons qu’il y aura des interruptions intermittentes des feux de circulation à partir de mardi à plusieurs intersections de la municipalité.
Les équipes installeront des lumières DEL pour les feux de circulation à de nombreuses intersections du mardi 22 mai au vendredi 25 mai, entre 9 h et 16 h chaque jour.
Les automobilistes devraient savoir qu’il y aura des voies fermées et des interruptions à la circulation routière alors que ces travaux sont terminés. Il y aura au moins un feu de circulation fonctionnel dans chaque direction à toutes les intersections alors que ces installations sont en cours.
Les travaux auront lieu aux intersections suivantes à différents moments pendant le reste de la semaine :
- Chemins Caldwell & Cow Bay
- Chemin Cole Harbour à Forest Hills, promenades Hugh Allen & Otago
- Promenade Forest Hills à promenade Circassion, promenade Taranaki, promenade Flying Cloud, chemin d’accès du Canadian Tire & de Cole Harbour Place
- Promenade Forest Hills & Auburn
