Halifax Transit is recruiting for bus operators. Those interested are encouraged to attend one of the following information sessions:
Where: Halifax Central Library, 5440 Spring Garden Road
When: Sunday, Jan. 12, 1 p.m.
Where: Black Cultural Centre for Nova Scotia, 10 Cherry Brook Road
When: Tuesday, Jan. 14, 6:30 p.m.
Where: Alderney Gate Library, 60 Alderney Drive
When: Thursday, Jan. 20, noon
Submissions will be accepted online from Jan. 7 onward. Applications received by Jan. 21 at midnight will be considered for the first testing session, which will be held on Feb. 1. Applicants who apply after Jan. 21 will be considered for future testing sessions which will be scheduled as required. Successful candidates will be entered into a resource bank which will be used to fill vacancies as they become available.

Halifax Transit recrute des conducteurs et des conductrices d’autobus. Les personnes intéressées sont invitées à assister à l’une des séances d’information suivantes :
Où : Bibliothèque centrale d’Halifax, 5440, chemin Spring Garden
Quand : Le dimanche 12 janvier, 13 h
Où : Black Cultural Centre for Nova Scotia, 10, chemin Cherry Brook

Les soumissions seront acceptées en ligne à partir du 7 janvier. Les demandes reçues au plus tard le 21 janvier à minuit seront examinées pour la première séance d’essais, qui aura lieu le 1er février. Les candidats qui présenteront leur demande après le 21 janvier seront pris en considération pour de futures séances d’essai qui seront planifiées au besoin. Les candidats retenus seront inscrits dans une banque de ressources qui servira à pourvoir aux postes vacants au fur et à mesure qu’ils deviendront disponibles.
