This morning, Halifax Regional Police Chief Jean-Michel (JM) Blais promoted seven officers at a promotional ceremony at City Hall.
“These officers have applied for, competed for, received and accepted the challenge of taking on the responsibility that comes with a higher rank. They have worked hard, dedicated themselves to HRP and our community and earned their promotion. We’re very proud of them and congratulate them on this important milestone in their policing careers,’ said Chief Jean-Michel (JM) Blais.
Please join us in congratulating the following new Inspector, Staff Sergeant and Sergeants:

The newly promoted officers will fill vacancies throughout the organization. We look forward to their leadership in their newly-assigned roles.
