HRP identifies individual involved reported to be impersonating police officer
Halifax Regional Police have identified the male involved in the police officer impersonation complaint. As a result of yesterday’s media release, a male was identified, and the investigation is continuing. There is no concern for public safety at this time.
HRP takes these types of incidents seriously. Due to heightened circumstances we remind the public to be mindful of any behavior that could cause alarm to the community and take up valuable police resources.
The investigation is still ongoing at this time.
