Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that paving will take place tomorrow (Wednesday) on Lake Major Road from Highway 107 to Ernst Mill Bridge.
Crews will be on site from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and again from 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.
The first four hours of work will see Lake Major Road closed to traffic from Highway 107 to Crane Hill Road. Marked detours will be in place.
Once that section is completed the road will re-open and the remainder of Lake Major Road will be paved with motorists experiencing stop-and-go traffic.
Drivers should expect delays in the area and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible. The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this road work may cause.
