Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that crews will be installing new underground cables near the Armdale Rotary in Halifax next week that will require lane closures on the approaches to and in the roundabout.
Crews will need to access manholes in and around the Armdale Rotary, which means the roundabout will be reduced to one lane on all approaches and one lane circulating on Monday, Dec. 29, and Tuesday, Dec. 30. This work and the closures will begin at 9 a.m. each day and continue until about 4 p.m.
Motorists should pay attention to construction signage in the area and expect some delays. Motorists are strongly urged to find alternative routes, if possible, while this work is going on. The municipality apologizes for any inconvenience this work or the lane closures may cause.
