Friday, Nov. 20, 2015 (Halifax, NS) - The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that a lane drop will be in place on St. Margaret’s Bay Road near the intersection of Fairmount Road, beginning on Monday, Nov. 23 through until Friday, Nov. 27.
This lane closure is required by Nova Scotia Power to facilitate the replacement of a utility pole in the area.
The lane drop will not be in place during the hours of 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. or 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Two lanes of traffic, one lane in each direction, will remain open at all times, and the west side sidewalk will remain open for pedestrian access.
The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this closure or the work may cause.
